Ana Gonzales bio
Ana Gonzalez de Jorgenson, a musician's daughter born in Mexico was born into a music-loving family. Her childhood was spent listening to traditional Boleros from the past and traditional romantic and Ranchero songs. Ana loves tangos, operas and other theatrical performances. At age 16 she began to sing and study music with her mum. Flavio, a Mexican Tenor with a renowned reputation, began giving her a more intensive training in singing. The School of Music of Guadalajara University as well as the School of Sacred Music of Toluca in Mexico continued her music education. The singer performed in Guadalajara, Mexico City and other cities as a young musician and student. After relocating into California in United States in 2000, she joined the Fort Lauderdale Symphony Chorus before shifting to her place in southern California. She sings with Ensemble XXI Redlands, and performs Latin American traditional music solo for many private functions. The passion and love she has for music, art, and performing keep her engaged with a variety of local initiatives as a performer and teacher. Ana is also previously a member of Community Chorus of Redlands as in addition to members of the Inland Master Chorale and Performance Loft. Ana thanks Inland Master Chorale members for their permission to play classic Latin American song.
